Reading Rep Theatre is a small but critically acclaimed producing and receiving house in the grounds of Reading College. This project converts an old assembly hall (recently used as a music rehearsal studio) into a 165 seat auditorium which has retractable seating so the space can be used for a variety of functions. The auditorium has been carefully designed to fit into the existing space and provide the maximum number of seats alongside a small interval bar, ancillary accommodation and rehearsal space.
