About us

We are proudly a People First practice and project that core value into everything we do, from our people to the people we work with and deliver for, we remain committed to social value and social responsibility. We believe in innovative, responsible design and are committed to balancing customer satisfaction with a sustainable approach to architecture and over the last 4 years have been at the forefront of designing and delivering net zero carbon, affordable housing and wheelchair compliant homes.

We are based in London Bridge, and provide a full range of design and technical services, we work on all RIBA stages (0-7) with specialist expertise in residential developments, affordable housing and community developments.

Our People First focus has resulted in us addressing all aspects of equality, diversity, and remaining flexible in our approach. We embrace flexible working to fit in with families, mental health issues and neurodiversity and factoring in downtime, we offer duvet days once a year to all our team members. At Fuse, all of what we do puts people at the centre. We are a plain speaking, non ‘archi’ speak team, where everyone has a voice.

Our impact

Internally, we created smaller focus groups, dedicated to implementing new EDI & health and well-being initiatives. We have health & well-being champions, offering a dedicated individual for people to chat through any worries or concerns, break out tea & coffee groups, social and educational events and initiatives and Friday presentations.

Outside of the work we do within the practice, we also support local schools based in Southwark and have registered with 10,000 black interns for 2023. We form part of Forging Links, an external all women group we helped form 4 years ago, which mentors and encourages women in a male biased industry (we have over 150 members now). We aim to support charities and get involved with campaigns and fundraising, as well as generally raising awareness through our platform as a business.

This year we are supporting MIND, refuge and autism together.
